JD&A and City of Surrey received the BC Event Award for BEST PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT EVENT for the Surrey 2010 Celebration Site. Recognizing outstanding achievements in special events, meeting management, conference planning and exhibition management, over 300,000 people attended the Surrey 2010 Celebrations, featuring 150 artists & headliners from around the world
performing on two stages.
JD&A received the Gala Award for MOST OUTSTANDING SPECTACLE for the production of the 2009 World Police & Fire Games Opening Ceremonies. The Gala Award is the most prestigious award in special events. The Gala Awards were held on January 15 as part of The Special Event 2010 in New Orleans.
JD&A received the national Star Award for BEST ENTERTAINMENT PRODUCTION at the Star Awards Gala in Toronto on March 26, 2010 for the production of the 2009 World Police & Fire Games Opening Ceremonies. The Canadian Event Industry Awards are the mark of achievement in the Canadian event industry.
