SYNOPSIS: Our work during the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games included a key role as Producer of the Surrey 2010 Celebration Site. Surrey’s magnificent Holland Park hosted an amazing series of free concerts, attractions and family fun zones from February 12 - 28, 2010. Over 300,000 people attended the Surrey 2010 Celebrations which featured 150 distinguished artists and headliners from around the world performing on two stages, with a mega-tent hosting international food pavilions, licensed areas and giant screens plus a second mega-tent hosting the RCMP Musical Ride and an outdoor action zone with synthetic ice skating, curling and sliding zones for kids.

SYNOPSIS: JD&A was selected to produce Opening & Closing Ceremonies & Entertainment Stages for the 2009 World Police & Fire Games. Over 10,000 athletes marched in to GM Place where 15,000 people attended the sold out Opening Ceremonies. A dazzling stadium production with cultural dancers, cirque performers, international headliners & SWAT teams. Over 7,000 attended the Closing Ceremonies at Swangard Stadium which included aerial displays from Canada’s Snowbirds air team.

SYNOPSIS: Vancouver Pride society asked JD&A to create a new street festival to launch Pride Week in Vancouver. JD&A created Koodo’s Big Night Out - Davie Street Pride Party sponsored by Koodo Mobile which is now an annual event. Two city blocks of Davie Street were closed as over 20,000 people attended the festive street celebration with live entertainment, vendors, colourful dancers and beer gardens.

SYNOPSIS: JD&A was awarded the contract to produce the 2009 JUNO Awards Festival for the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences. To feature WestJet Airlines as a premiere sponsor of the festival, we created the WestJet Street Party with support from Best Buy & Garnier Fructis. Two blocks of Granville Street closed for four days, where two live-stages with regional & national recording artists, vendor activation, national media outlets & beer garden, attracte over 40,000 people, generating over $500,000 media value for WestJet.
